Air, rain, temperature etc. natural factors forms soil by breaking rocks. Both physical and chemical changes can be seen in soil formation together. When rocks broken into small pieces is a physical change when air, water and gases change minerals in rocks, it is chemical change. So, soil formation is a joint (physical + chemical) reaction.
