What are the games or human activities which use trees, or in which trees also ‘participate’?

Answer:
Trees are involved in various games of children like hide and seek, making a tree house, swinging swings and flying kites. They also participate in tea parties.
वृक्षों को लुकाछिपी, मचान बनाने, झूला झूलने और पतंग उड़ाने जैसे विभिन्न खेलों में उपयोग में लाया जाता है।
वे चाय की पार्टियों में भी सहभागी होते हैं।
Question 2.
(i) “Trees are to make no shade in winter”. What does this mean? (Contrast this line with the line immediately before it.)
“वृक्ष सर्दी में छाया नहीं करते हैं।” इसका क्या तात्पर्य है? (इस पंक्ति का विरोधाभास इससे तुरन्त ऊपर आई पंक्ति से कीजिए।)
Answer:
The poet, in this line, says that the shade of the trees is not required during the winter season as it is cold and thus they should allow the heat and rays of the sun to pass through their leaves. The previous line is a contrast to this line as the poet says that the trees provide cool and soothing shade during the summer season. They provide relief from the heat of the sun.
इस पंक्ति में कवि कहता है कि सर्दी के मौसम में वृक्षों की छाया की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है क्योंकि इस समय ठंड है। इस तरह से वे गर्मी आने देते हैं और सूर्य की रश्मियाँ पत्तों में से निकल कर आती हैं। इस पंक्ति से पूर्व की पंक्ति का विरोधाभास है कि गर्मी में वृक्ष ठंडी और आरामदायक छाया प्रदान करते हैं। वे सूर्य की प्रचण्ड गर्मी से राहत पहुंचाते हैं।
(ii) “Trees are for apples to grow on, or pears”. Do you agree that one purpose of a tree is to have fruit on it? Or do you think this line is humorous?

Answer:
I agree that one purpose of a tree is to bear fruits. Trees are the primary source of food for all living beings on this planet. So, I think that there is nothing humorous about this line
