13 Phrase: Noun, Adjective, Verb, Adverb, Prepositional
Phrase एक शब्द समूह होती है, जिसका अपना स्वयं का न तो कोई Subject होता है और न कोई Predicate होता है और इसीलिये यह स्वयं में कोई कथन नहीं होता है। इसका एक संक्षिप्त अर्थ होता है। इसमें एक Head Word (मुख्य शब्द) होता है। यदि यह Head Word, Noun है तो इसे Noun Phrase कहते हैं, यदि Adjective है तो Adjective Phrase, यदि Verb है तो Verb Phrase, यदि Adverb है तो Adverb Phrase और यदि Preposition है तो Prepositional Phrase कहते हैं।
