Ans: The poet’s mother has been compared to the late winter’s moon to bring out the similarity of ageing and decay. The late winter moon looks hazy and obscure. It lacks shine and strength. The poet’s mother has an ‘ashen’ face resembling a corpse.
उत्तर : कवि की माता की तुलना शीतकाल के अंत के चन्द्रमा से की गई है जिससे वृद्धावस्था और क्षय की समानता सामने आती है। देर से सर्दियों का चाँद धुंधला और अस्पष्ट दिखता है। इसमें चमक और ताकत की कमी है। कवि की माँ के पास एक लाश जैसा एक ‘राख’ चेहरा है।

Edla found a small rattrap and in it lay three wrinkled ten kronor notes apart from a letter written in large, jagged characters by the peddler. She gave a cry of joy because of the unexpected presents which the peddler had left for her.

Gandhiji came to know about the injustices of the landlords in Bihar. He accompanied Raj Kumar Shukla to Champaran. He learnt that the peasants planted 15 per cent of their holdings with indigo. The entire indigo harvest was to be paid as rent to the land-lords. Gandhiji desired to render them lawful service. He was asked to quit Champaran when he desired to investigate the facts behind the maltreatment of a peasant. The Secretary of the British Landlords’ Association refused to give information to an outsider. The British official commission of Tirhut division asked Gandhi not only to leave but bullied him also. Gandhiji proceeded to Motihari, when Gandhi was going to a nearby village, the police superintendent sent him a message who served him an official notice to leave champaran immediately. Gandhiji signed the notice but wrote to disobey the order. Consequently he got a summon to appear in the court the following day.
गांधीजी को बिहार में जमींदारों के अन्याय के बारे में पता चला। वह राजकुमार शुक्ला के साथ चंपारण गए। उसे पता चला कि किसान अपनी जोत का 15 प्रतिशत नील के साथ लगाते थे। नील की पूरी फसल का भुगतान जमींदारों को लगान के रूप में किया जाना था। गांधीजी उन्हें वैध सेवा प्रदान करना चाहते थे। एक किसान के साथ दुर्व्यवहार के पीछे के तथ्यों की जांच करने की इच्छा होने पर उन्हें चंपारण छोड़ने के लिए कहा गया। ब्रिटिश जमींदारों के संघ के सचिव ने किसी बाहरी व्यक्ति को जानकारी देने से इनकार कर दिया। तिरहुत डिवीजन के ब्रिटिश आधिकारिक आयोग ने गांधी को न केवल छोड़ने के लिए कहा बल्कि उन्हें धमकाया भी। गांधीजी मोतिहारी के लिए रवाना हुए, जब गांधी पास के एक गाँव जा रहे थे, तो पुलिस अधीक्षक ने उन्हें एक संदेश भेजा जिसने उन्हें तुरंत चंपारण छोड़ने के लिए एक आधिकारिक नोटिस दिया। गांधीजी ने नोटिस पर हस्ताक्षर किए लेकिन आदेश की अवहेलना करने के लिए लिखा। नतीजतन उन्हें अगले दिन अदालत में पेश होने का समन मिला।

Answer: The third level at the central station symbolises escape, on more than one level. Firstly, it offers a literal escape from the chaotic present into a calmer past. Metaphorically, it is an escape from a life of monotony to a life of comfortable idleness.

He uttered “Let tigers beware!”He decided to kill 100 tigers.So he got the name’Tiger King’.
सर जिलानी जंग जंग बहादुर, प्रतिबंदपुरम के महाराजा “बाघ राजा” हैं। जब वह सिर्फ 10 दिन का था तो उसने ज्योतिषियों से बुद्धिमान प्रश्न पूछे और कहा गया कि उसे एक बाघ द्वारा मार दिया जाएगा। उसने कहा “बाघों को सावधान रहने दो!” उसने 100 बाघों को मारने का फैसला किया। इसलिए उसे ‘टाइगर किंग’ नाम मिला।

The general was very ill. He was in pain and required medical treatment immediately. He had faith only in Sadao’s medical capabilities. With his orders, the messenger came to Dr. Sadao. Hana thought that the general would penalise her husband for giving shelter to an enemy.

One day Bama was walking home from school. She saw an elder carrying a small packet held by its string. He was holding it out so as not to touch it. There seems to be vadais in the packet because it was stained with oil. It was a funny scene because that way the packet could get undone and the vadais could fall out. She felt bad that people had to bow low and work so hard for their masters. The rich sat and stuffed things into their mouth. This thought deeply infuriated her.
एक दिन बामा स्कूल से घर जा रहे थी। उसने देखा कि एक बुजुर्ग अपनी डोरी से एक छोटा सा पैकेट लिए हुए था। वह इसे बाहर पकड़ रहा था ताकि इसे स्पर्श न करें। पैकेट में वड़े लगते हैं क्योंकि यह तेल से सना हुआ था। यह एक मज़ेदार दृश्य था क्योंकि इस तरह से पैकेट पूर्ववत हो सकता था और वड़े गिर सकते थे। उसे इस बात का बुरा लगा कि लोगों को झुकना पड़ा और अपने स्वामी के लिए इतनी मेहनत करनी पड़ी। धनवानों ने बैठकर अपने मुँह में चीजें भर दीं। इस विचार ने उसे गहरा आघात पहुँचाया।
